Albiglutide (GSK716155) is a drug that is being developed for the treatment of diabetes because of its ability to lower blood sugar. GlaxoSmithKline is doing this study to find out if taking albiglutide will help increase glucose uptake into the heart muscle resulting in improved heart function and an increased ability to exercise in people with NYHA Class II-III heart failure.
