There are no bad foods and it is okay to eat foods listed at the top of the food pyramid - they should be eaten in small quantities and less frequently than other foods. We need to be sure that we are making wise heart-healthy food choices, limit the amount of sweets and fats, and eat a variety of foods from each of the food groups. Each of the five food groups provide important, vital nutrients for a strong healthy body. |
