The Foundation's Development Division is the conduit for promoting and
encouraging private financial support for the conduct of clinical research and
corporate, community, and school-based heart health education programs. Since
1982, when the Minneapolis Heart Institute Foundation was established, we have
been the recipient of generous financial contributions and unselfish gifts of
time and talent. In fact, donors to the Foundation now number more than 11,000
and come from every quarter – from physicians, major corporations, private
foundations, and individuals. We wish to acknowledge and thank all who
contributed to the Minneapolis Heart Institute Foundation during 2001. Your
gifts enabled our researchers to expand and enhance studies in interventional
cardiology, the 55 and Under Registry, hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, cardiac
electrophysiology and many other areas of cardiovascular health. Philanthropy
also supported our education programs. We thank you for your support.
