In 2002, the Minneapolis Heart Institute
Foundation (MHIF) celebrated its 20th
Anniversary, a very significant milestone made
possible by the support of friends like you. Over
the past 20 years, some 11,000 donors have
supported our vision of cardiovascular research
and heart disease prevention. We are grateful
for your support.

Jay Leno of The Tonight Show on NBC helped
MHIF celebrate its 20th anniversary at the Founders
Dinner and Gala in November. Here, he arrives in style
on a 2003 Harley Davidson motorcycle. Nearly 900
people attended the event, which raised $190,000
for cardiovascular research and heart disease
prevention and education.

When you give a gift to MHIF, you are helping to
advance the heart health of Minnesotans and people
throughout the world through research and education.
Your continuing support has made the Minneapolis
Heart Institute Foundation one of the leading clinical
cardiovascular research centers in the world.
We look forward to the next 20 years and to the
advances that will come from our growing research
program. In the years ahead, the Foundation’s partnership
with you – our donors and advocates – will help
bring hope to people everywhere whose health and very
lives are threatened by heart disease.
Again, thank you for your support.
