On Sunday, September 26, the Minneapolis Hilton & Towers opened its ballroom doors for 500 enthusiastic supporters of the Minneapolis Heart Institute Foundation. The annual Fall Dinner featured Tom Brokaw, NBC Nightly News anchor and best selling author of The Greatest Generation.

Mr. Brokaw thanked the primarily World War II generation audience for its many contributions to country, family and community. Twelve corporate and individual sponsors joined with 30 table sponsors to allow more than $110,000 to reach the bottom line for the benefit of the Foundation's research and education programs.
