For the past three years, Paper Warehouse, Inc. has designated MHIF to
receive a portion of the proceeds from the sale of heart-shaped balloons sold
during Valentine's week.
This year, Yale Dolginow, chairman and CEO of Paper Warehouse, presented the
Foundation with a check for $13,000 on behalf of the 98 company-owned stores.
Paper Warehouse customers across the nation purchased more than 265,000
heart-shaped balloons during Valentine's week. The past three Valentine's Days
have provided the Minneapolis Heart Institute Foundation with $35,000 for its
research and education programs.
