Title: FAST CTO
Study Sponsor: BridgePoint Medical
Principal Investigator: Nicholas Burke, MD
Study Synopsis: Chronic total occlusions (CTOs) in major coronary arteries continue to present the most significant obstacle to complete coronary revascularization through standard methods and represent the most common reason for referral to coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG) surgical procedures.
The objective of this study is to demonstrate the safety and effectiveness of the BridgePoint Medical System to assist in the placement of conventional guidewires beyond stenotic lesions (including CTOs) prior to a coronary intervention. Patients will be evaluated during an office visit with a study coordinator at 30-days after the procedure. Up to one hundred (100) subjects will be enrolled into this study at up to 10 US clinical sites.
Study Status: Enrolling
How do I qualify? Patients may qualify if they have a chronic total occlusion (completely blocked off) and meet other study criteria.
Who do I contact for more information? Carol Stone CCRC. or contact research at 612.863.3890.
